In the last twenty years the sophistication associated with modular home construction has greatly increased. For example you can now assemble a modular home with overhead cranes that have capacity to lift 100 tons. This allowes for larger modules to be constructed and shipped cross-country. The only limitation on the size of each individual home module is the width of the road from the factory to the building site.
